Everything is what you make it to be, and no bigger example of that is the chick behind fast fingers, stiletto-hungry eyes, and a Starbucks coffee with two sweet-n-lows and major droplets of half-n-half.

 

Elana Brin Pruitt has always dreamt big — the stars were barely anything to have reached for in her early days. In a moment of desperation, she once randomly spewed out the thought: "People say the sky is the limit, I beg to differ." From cracking open her first Hello Kitty journal at 7 years old and winning Spelling Bee trophies in her youngin' days at Montvue Elementary School in Pomona, Calif., Elana felt the power of words stronger than she ever did anything else. She is known to come up with language that is nonexistent in the dictionary and throw out thoughts that would make one think, "Who does she think she is?" (Korean salad and Filipino cheese…concepts that are another story in itself).

 

Elana's imagination runs on syntax and error-free copy — splashed with proper commas and quotation marks galore. She even believes text messages and e-mails are an art form in itself.

 

According to the gal who relied on public transportation to and from Cal State Fullerton before saving up retail chunk change for a spittin' used car with a cracked windshield… The possibilities are endless.

 

It is common knowledge that Elana will keep talking and writing if you let her. But no fret –  everything that comes out of her mouth is, well what else? But CHIC. So  it's always a win-win situation for those involved, right? No doubt.
